The Complete Vocal Technique was founded in Copenhagen by Cathrine Sadolin, founder of the Complete Vocal Institute, now the largest singing institute in Europe.

In order to understand a concept, it is sometimes necessary to break it down into parts and establish the relationships between them. To understand how our vocal tract works requires that level of concreteness and relationship between what happens in our body when we sing and how we can explain it. And for this way to be pedagogically effective, a clear method is needed, with practical tools, in continuous evolution and supported by scientific studies.

The terminology that has been developed, which is very precise and unambiguous, is the most widespread among singing teachers all over the world and covers all the sounds that the voice can make.
